Michael was one of the founders of Wilkore in 1988. With over 30 years construction experience, he has grown Wilkore into a mid-tier construction company with an excellent reputation for the design and construction of buildings, particularly specialist facilities. Michael is passionate about innovation in building design and under his leadership, Wilkore has thrived on embracing and developing new systems. But for Michael the ultimate goal is always to get the job done.
The success of this attitude is shown by the number of long-term clients that over the past 20 years have repeatedly come back to Wilkore for their projects, including Caribbean Business Park (23 years, $120M+, 25 major projects), Sigma Pharmaceuticals (15 years, $80M, 10 projects), Institute of Drug Technology (IDT) (15 years, $15M and 12 projects) and Hannanprint (10 years, $6M, 8 projects).
Paul has over 35 years experience in the building industry, and has been with Wilkore since it’s inception over 20 years ago. He became a Project Manager with us 15 years ago and became General Manager 3 years ago.
Paul has significant experience in all aspects of commercial building, particularly in office/warehouse facilities, structural and civil works, logistics facilities, facades and office fitouts. He has personally overseen dozens of projects both in Melbourne and Sydney.
Warren has nearly 15 years of experience in the construction industry with nearly ten years of site management experience. He began with Wilkore as a first year apprentice and has progressed steadily to his current position as Wilkore’s Construction Manager.
Warren oversees all aspects of the range of projects executed by Wilkore, from general commercial construction, through to domestic, through to highly complex pharmaceutical, containment and laboratory projects. Warren’s leadership skills and the ability to communicate successfully with both clients and site staff has made him a valuable member of the Wilkore team and a much sort after manager for Wilkore projects.
Rob has over 36 years experience in the building industry, 20 years of this has been either contracting to or directly employed by, Wilkore. He has completed projects in both the domestic and commercial fields up to $20 million in value.
It is Rob’s varied experience and his ability with people that makes him a key member of the Wilkore team. Rob has built relationships with some clients that have spanned almost his entire career.
The loyalty displayed by these clients is testament to Rob’s significant ability in project management and the loyalty and dedication he displays to his clients. His people skills are also a significant asset for projects that are occurring on operational sites, where there numerous clients that have to be catered to, not just the one that requires a new facility.
A jack-of-all-trades, Simon’s key role for Wilkore is as a project manager. His experience in a variety of disciplines, from process to electrical, data, hydraulics and controls is very valuable. He is one of Wilkore’s expert project managers for high-tech projects that include PC2, PC3, high-containment and laboratory facilities.
With 15 years of experience in the construction industry, Simon has been a key member of the Wilkore team since 2005. An expert in the assembly of the Dagard Cleanroom Panel System, Simon has overseen and physically installed over 20,000m² of panel. He has personally designed hundreds of seals and flushing details for PC2 and PC3 facilities. He attacks problems analytically, ensuring he understands all aspects before applying a solution.
