Wilkore is the Construction Manager, Project Manager and Builder of the $65 million Sigma Pharmaceuticals Dandenong South Expansion. This project involves the consolidation of three pharmaceutical facilities onto a single site which, when complete will have one of the highest manufacturing volumes of pharmaceutical goods in Australia.
Over 200 products and their manufacturing processes had to be analysed, rationalised and streamlined, in parallel with a facility being designed and built to accommodate them. The program has been fast tracked and is due for completion at the end of the 2006. Over 15,000m² of new, cleanroom manufacturing, office, laboroatory, warehouse and amenities space has been added to the site, as well as upgrades to the steam, chilled water, purified water and gas reticulation services. We have overseen every aspect of the design, managed consultants, prepared and maintained the budget and program and procured the equipment.
