Wilkore has Commenced PC2 & PC3 work on the Biosciences Research Centre at LaTrobe

Wilkore has commenced work on the fitout of the specialist laboratory areas on the $250m Biosciences Research Centre Project at Latrobe University. Our scope of works include installation of walls, ceilings, flooring and joinery to the PC2 and PC3 areas and general compliance issues associated with these facilities. Directly contracted to Grocon, we have a tight delivery program on a very complex project, across over 15,000m² of floor area. We are looking forward to a fascinating and challenging project.

Wilkore Successfully Completes PC3 Facility at Swinburne ATC Project

October 2010

Wilkore has successfully completed another PC3 envelope project, this time using local X-Flam Sandwich Panel and locally made doors and windows.  Contracted to Kane Constructions, the facility is part of the Swinburne University ATC project.  Using our specially designed installation techniques and quality assurance system, this facility was successfully tested first time to the requirements of AS2243.3.

Project Completion for CSIRO

8.10.2009

Wilkore Construction has completed an ISO 6 cleanroom as part of the CSIRO’s Future Manufacturing National Research Flagship. The 100m² facility was completed on time within a short 5 week installation period. The facility was recently opened by Senator the Hon Kim Carr, Minister for Innovation, Industry, Science and Research.



Successful attainment of OHS Accreditation

Wilkore Construction has gained accreditation for the Australian Government Building and Construction OHS Accreditation Scheme.  Wilkore is now one of only 150 organisations Australia wide who can tender on certain federally funded projects.  This is a significant achievement that was truly a company wide effort that is already paying dividends.
