Work underway at Monash
Wilkore’s staff are on site at Monash University, Clayton where they are constructing PC2 areas as well as completing a general refurbishment of existing offices and laboratories. With a schedule of only a few weeks Wilkore are moving fast and should finish the project in October.
Swinburne project wins major award
The Swinburne University of Technology, Advanced Technology Centre has won the Master Builders Excellence in Construction Award in the Commercial Buildings, $30M-$80M, category. The building was commended for its distinctive form. Kane Constructions was the principal builder on the project, which was designed by H20 Architects. Wilkore were contracted to deliver the facility’s 70m² PC3 area.
New life to building in just 6 weeks
Wilkore recently completed refurbishing a building at Caribbean Business Park, ready for Adairs, the manchester and homewares retailer, to move in. The project included completely gutting-out the building, moving walls and doors to create the open-plan office spaces and warehouse offices, fitting-out the areas, adding in toilets, kitchens and a new staircase. All of this in just six weeks!
Work completed on innovative office / warehouse
Wilkore has completed work on a new office / warehouse complex for WEG, the motors, automation and energy company. The facility proves that you can build an innovative and interesting building at a comparable price.
