Wilkore is a recognized industry expert in the construction of laboratories, cleanrooms and containment facilities. We have been working with the Dagard Panel System since 2004 to provide turnkey facilities and stand-alone installations. We have installed over 30,000m² of Dagard Panels for clients such as Sigma, IVF Australia, University of South Australia, Advent, BT, QIMR, TRI and VIDRL and on projects such as the Bioscience Research Centre and Parkville Neuroscience.
Turnkey Capabilities
Wilkore has the expertise to see a project through from the design of the facility, to the supply of the materials, including the Dagard Panels, to the installation and finally certification. Using the Dagard sandwich panels we can ensure cleanability, material compatibility, airflow control and flexibility to meet a project's unique requirements. Wilkore have developed specific details for the delivery of services such as the plumbing, gas, power date, and air grilles to containment areas. These are integral details that make all the difference to the end pressure-test results. Wilkore designed and built a pressure test rig to perform tests as specified in AS 2243.3 2010, Appendix H. This rig allows us to monitor the integrity of the facility as it is built, giving certainty to the final result. We have an enviable record for delivering facilities that pass the AQIS and OGTR tests first time.
All of the experience in the world would be worthless without a comprehensive quality system. Wilkore’s Quality Assurance policies provide a roadmap for delivering successful, compliant facilities. Our quality policies include PC3 site induction forms to familiarize all on-site staff with what are PC labs, what are the risks associated with them, what they should know and what they must do in all containment areas. Along with regular inspection and test records, there are reports for each individual connection, including wall and ceiling connections, window panel connections, floor connections and doorframe connections. These reports ask for the installer to sign for each silicon bead applied and to note any variation or non-conformance. These records enable Wilkore to trace any leaks back to the sealing stage and to identify who was the installer and exactly what they did. For the Parkville Neuroscience Project alone there were 6,500 pages of QA paperwork.
